In the instructors section, we describe the safe use of tire deflators for Law Enforcement use. We recommend that you study this in order to get an understanding of the types of deflators and their benefits and limits. It’s important that as a buyer, instructor, that you know the difference and the risks so that you can develop a good program with your department.

Taking the test(s) qualifies you as an instructor, as long as you meet other local requirements. This allows you to research a product, teach, and help in the training program.

It’s important to note while you might train on the spike belt, we also have the auto-spike version, which has another training program. We encourage you to look at both systems.

Training also qualifies for our repair program where rather than buying expensive replacements, you reload the strips for multiple uses, saving your department money, and extending your budget to equip more vehicles.
