101. INSPECTION DEPLOYMENT EXERCISE 

A. To teach basic handling and deployment of the system, and how to inspect the Winder, cord and system, for operation and defects.

B To teach the deployment, adjustment, recovery of the Spike belt.

C. To teach the operation of the winder.

D. To teach the recomended stance, for operation of the system.

E. Spike belt requires no inspection, it’s super tough.

A. You should be facing traffic, 1 shoulder to ward the traffic lanes.

B. Cord laid across the traffic and verify the system is secured on the edge of the roadway.

C. Winder should be in the same hand, cover should be off the opposite shoulder.

D. All the above.

A. Pause when the system is properly position in lane of the target car.

B. Do not pause.

A. Quick tug of the arm retrieves the system.

B. If arm is folded or you have slack in the line, when you try to tug the system it will not retrieve from roadway.

C. Running to pull up the slack is a slower option to retrieve Spikes.

D. don’t worry, just grab the cord with hand and pull it.

A. Use your arm to yank the system off roadway.

B. Walk until the system is centered between the two lanes of traffic.

C. Take a pause and listen to your training istructor to recovere the system.

D. None of the above.

A. Walk the entire length of cord, then walk back with the cord in your fingers checking for any imperfections.

B. Once you get the end of the unit, walk back and deploy the spike-strip and walk back and re inspect the strip

C. Look for missing spikes, broken sections or warn velcro strap.
